Gym Challenge is an incredibly difficult set to complete, mostly because of 2 specific cards. We have included both of them in our final release for the 1st Edition Gym Challenge series. With the record breaking public sale of the Misty’s Golduck yesterday, this is now the most valuable card in the set and has by far the lowest PSA 10 population. We have also included the card with the second lowest population, the Giovanni’s Persian. Both of them have one specific characteristic in common, the silver color holo. Much like the Dark Magneton which was featured in the final drop for Team Rocket or the Lugia from Neo Genesis, the cards with this particular type of holo are much more prone to damage and had many factory flaws. These cards always have the lowest populations of their sets and are usually the biggest grails of the set. By the way, the photo for the Giovanni’s Persian is a scan that we had on file. All 10 cards were already packaged when I realized there was an issue with the photo of this card so we used a scan instead. This is a scan of the actual card and is not a stock photo. We saved the two biggest grails of the set for the final drop!
